Kopetz
provides in-house ASME Code design, calculation and drafting
documentation for all pressure vessels. We also provide mechanical
design data for our Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers.
Kopetz assures compliance with ASME Code Sections II,
V, VIII (Division 1) and IX, conformance with the standards
of the Tubular Exchanger Manufacturer’s Association
(TEMA), and adherence to API Standards 620 and 650, as
requested by our customers for customized construction.
Kopetz Mfg. has attained a Manufacture License of Special
Equipment, People's Republic of China ("SQL Stamp").
Pressures vessels and heat exchangers designed by Kopetz
also include consideration of external piping loads and
the effects of wind and seismic events.
Kopetz also maintains strict adherence to all customer
specifications and standards for pressure vessel and
heat exchanger projects.
For
ASME calculations, Kopetz utilizes Advanced Pressure
Vessel (APV) software developed by Computer Engineering,
Inc., plus we alternatively provide calculations via
the Compress program.
Kopetz has used Autodesk for the past 13 years and
maintains the most up-to-date AutoCad drafting software
available.
For quick reproduction and distribution of drawings
and final record books, Kopetz owns a state-of-the-art
KIP-3000 drawing plotter and has in-house access to document
scanners, capable of providing both paper and electronic
documentation to suit the needs of our customers.
In addition to pressure vessel engineering, Kopetz offers
basic structural design capability, sizing columns, beams
and bracing for facility expansion.
About the Department
Manager Al Pote is the Chief Engineer of Kopetz Mfg., Inc. Mr.
Pote has 28 years of experience in the engineering field
and is entering his 25th year of service to Kopetz.
